US actress Selma Blair, 46, has received much popular acclaim after reporting on her diagnosis of multiple sclerosis. “I love you, I’m proud of you, and there’s nothing I would not do for you,” wrote Sarah Michelle Gellar (41) in the comments on Blair’s Instagram post on Saturday. Gellar and Blair had stood together in 1991 for the thriller “Ice-cold angel” together in front of the camera.
“How brave and honest to write something like that,” said the star of “How I Met Your Mother,” Neil Patrick Harris (45). Actress Shannon Doherty, 47, who has been fighting cancer for years, wrote, “Sharing your strength is not just a gift for others, but for yourself as well.”
Blair explained in her long message to her fans that she had been showing symptoms for years, but never been taken seriously. The illness was diagnosed in August. Currently, the 46-year-old is in front of the camera for the Netflix series “Another Life”.
